Cine Fe is a nonprofit in Denver, providing under-represented Colorado filmmakers with resources to help them succeed in the state. As part of my mission with Ainslee Studios, I work to give back to my community where I can. I worked with Cine Fe on a volunteer basis to support their work with independent filmmakers.
Social Media
In March 2023 I established social media accounts for Cine Fe on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Before my work with them, they had no social media presence.
The intent was to use these platforms to explain to the public the work that Cine Fe was doing, and to connect their community of filmmakers to upcoming funding and pitching opportunities. Many of their followers are independent filmmakers just starting out, so connecting them with resources such as funding opportunities, as well as promoting their films, is of utmost importance to Cine Fe's work.
Ultimately, a social media presence was also critical for Cine Fe to use for fundraising, and I also helped them to develop and run a fundraising campaign, both on social media, and via email newsletter outreach.
