Hobby Swap came to Ainslee Studios in early 2022 looking for their brand new app, actively under development. The idea was to create an app (iOS and Android) for people buying and selling collectibles. This would be a more affordable option than Ebay or other currently available sites. Initially the plan was to focus on trading sports related memorabilia, specifically sports trading cards, with the goal to ultimately expand to other collectibles, possibly offering chat rooms and more. Enter Ainslee Studios.
The Hobby Swap logo is a dynamic H, where the cross-bar is activated through arrows referencing the buying and selling of collectibles, featuring an abstracted card shape in the center, created from the cross-bar of the H as it is twisted by the arrows around it.
The Hobby Swap brand is rounded out with a full color palette, carefully considered typography, and usage guidelines.
